How the King's Teachings & His Scriptures Rule Over All Human Knowledge and Pursuits

The Bible reveals profound truths that not only illuminate core spiritual matters, but also encompass every domain of human existence, as all wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ, through whom all things were created. Science is part of the kingly domain, ruled by Jesus’ teaching. In biology, Jesus affirmed the binary nature of human gender when He taught (Matthew 19:4, ESV), “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female…” affirming the normative Genesis text that describes how God formed humanity. This truth similarly refutes evolution. What is more, the Bible states clearly that death entered the world through sin, it is not as a mechanism for progress. Jesus’ own death takes on this penalty for sin, reversing Adam’s disobedience, which brought death as a curse upon all creation.

As for astronomy, Jesus habitually rested on the Sabbath, aligning with the six-day creation, as seen in Genesis 1 and the Decalogue (Exodus 20:11). This truth explains why modern observations show no new stars forming—the universe has been complete from the beginning, not evolving over eons. The stars were created on day four. Even the star that marked the Messiah’s birth only appeared (Matthew 2:2), but did not come into existence, at that time. (If there was ever a time for a new star to be “created,” it was then.)

Turning to geology and geography, the Bible explains clearly that an alteration of the earth’s form occurred through catastrophic events ordained by God. Jesus himself taught unambiguously about the flood, as global in scope. This widespread judgment reshaped the world’s surface, explaining the puzzle-like resemblance of continents. The flood waters covered the entire earth, rapidly depositing sedimentary layers, while forming fossil records, that are commonly misattributing to gradual processes.

In politics, the Bible emphasizes ethical qualifications of leaders, as far outweighing charming personality, eloquence, physical stature or connections. Moses instructs the Israelites to choose wise, God-fearing leaders, who will uphold justice impartially (Deuteronomy 1:13–17). Jesus critiques Gentile rulers for seeking recognition over genuine service, teaching that true leadership is rooted in humble servanthood (Matthew 20:25–28). This echoes the Old Testament example of King David, chosen not for stature or connections, but for his heart after God’s own (1 Samuel 16:7) and willingness to humbly suffer, if necessary, to serve his people and his God.

At the same time, in law, Jesus instructs followers to pay taxes to Caesar (Matthew 22:15–22), thereby submitting to—even ungodly—governmental authority. Paul reinforces this point (Romans 13:1–7), urging respect for authorities, while yet implying government officials should embody moral integrity as God’s servants. Jesus upheld the legal standard of the indivisibility of marriage, declaring, “What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate” (Matthew 19:6), opposing no-fault divorce, which leads to personal, familial and societal decay. Laws against abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality and transgenderism are also essential, as such actions lead to degradation, damaging, death. Legal commands like “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13) from the Old Testament, which Jesus intensified by linking hatred to murder (Matthew 5:21–22), are pillars for upholding the fabric of human society.

Through Christ, who is Truth, Christian educational curricula integrate biblical principles in all spheres of knowledge, fostering holistic wisdom. It counters what is conventionally called knowledge, but bringing cultural erosion, and guides humanity into true flourishing.
